Companion Animal Parasite Council’s website has a plethora of information regarding parasites. Search towards the bottom of their homepage for the special “Pet Owners” section.

This is an excellent reference though is focused on the parasites and not necessarily how to prevent them. Please contact the clinic should you be interested in prevention as these medicines are often changing or temporarily not available. Remember, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!
